Enigma Coworking, owned and operated by Digita Global Marketing Limited, says its innovation hub is being leveraged by UNESCO to host TruthYard, an information verification hub created to support national relief and recovery efforts following the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa.

Developed under UNESCO’s communication and information programme, TruthYard is a fact-checking and data coordination platform designed to counter misinformation and ensure that accurate, timely information guides recovery operations.

The initiative is implemented in partnership with the Jamaica Broadcasting Commission, Jamaica National Commission for UNESCO, and Caribbean School of Media and Communication at the University of the West Indies (CARIMAC).

Enigma has contributed more than J$600,000 in kind to facilitate the setup and initial phase of the initiative.

“We are pleased to support the TruthYard initiative and make Enigma available for this important purpose,” said Kemal Brown, CEO of Digita Global Marketing Ltd. and Ideator of Enigma Coworking. “This collaboration demonstrates how creativity, technology, and purpose can align to serve the public good, especially at a moment when Jamaica needs reliable information most.”

“We are grateful to Enigma for providing such a dynamic space for our temporary team,” said Eric Falt, UNESCO’s regional director for the Caribbean. “In times of crisis, access to verified information is vital; it helps ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most.”
